Best time to visit: May, June, and September are the sweet spot — warm, sunny, and significantly less crowded than peak summer. July and August are scorching hot and extremely crowded; Oia at sunset becomes a wall-to-wall crowd. April and October offer quiet exploration but some restaurants and hotels close.
